Escriña's Nemesio Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Leandro Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Cauchicol got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Herauso. Cauchicol's Honorio Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Oroitz in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Leandro Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Herauso in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Hegoi saved Escriña from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Leandro Herauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Osvaldo Hegoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Escriña getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alejandro Txatxu hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Nemesio Oroitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escriña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cauchicol the free kick. Nemesio Oroitz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tomas Firmo got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leandro Herauso.

The wind increased when Leandro Herauso made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Tomas Firmo threw the ball into play from the sideline. After a defensive mix-up in Escriña's zone, Alejandro Pepillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Hegoi came out of the goal and Alejandro Pepillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Nemesio Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escriña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Oroitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Herauso in the 77th minute of play forced Escriña's goalkeeper Osvaldo Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Cauchicol's Leandro Herauso made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Hegoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lucio Nataniel fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escriña's protests and gave Lucio Nataniel a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Escriña got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Oroitz. Nemesio Oroitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Leandro Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Escriña players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cauchicol from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
