In the 7th minute, Leandro Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Academia FC's Gaudencio Dimo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Artaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the game, Fermin Txeru landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ramon Birila charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Birila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cauchicol booed when Academia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Herauso in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Fanuco saved Academia FC from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Leandro Herauso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Leandro Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cauchicol's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Herauso in the 20th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Domingos Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cauchicol booed when Academia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Quico in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Ramon Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Dimo in the 24th minute of play forced Cauchicol's goalkeeper Honorio Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Herauso spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Academia FC's goal. Alejandro Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Cauchicol's Leandro Herauso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 32 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by German Lico. In the 40th minute of the match Froilan Dominic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorio Artaldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leandro Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Herauso in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Fanuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Quico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorio Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Leandro Herauso struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Domingos Fanuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cauchicol. In the 60th minute, Dionisio Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Fanuco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Herauso's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Herauso in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Fanuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Herauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Fanuco having to make a save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cauchicol's goalkeeper Honorio Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Fanuco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Herauso's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Fidel Quico got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 81st minute, Gaudencio Dimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Leandro Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingos Fanuco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Herauso's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Academia FC's Ramon Birila got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Ramon Birila off the ground.
