Cabayero Rojo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bartolo Giraldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Marko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Real Almerienses Unidos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Teodoro Jurdan hit a great ball. Luis Tauro, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Real Almerienses Unidos's Bartolo Giraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Remir might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Marko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Remir ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bruno Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabayero Rojo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Rene Frederico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Almerienses Unidos and the Cabayero Rojo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Remir to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Basilio Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Remir in the 54th minute of play forced Cabayero Rojo FC's goalkeeper Basilio Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Cabayero Rojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Remir came free, but Basilio Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bartolo Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Real Almerienses Unidos defense, Bruno Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Baristo. The Real Almerienses Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Baristo should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Marko having to interfere. Basilio Marko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Remir in the 70th minute of the match. When Bartolo Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Real Almerienses Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Giraldo couldn't finish the play. Pastor Santxol hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Alvaro Remir came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Real Almerienses Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Remir couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Giraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Basilio Marko made a huge save. Bartolo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Giraldo in the 91st minute. Alejandro Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cabayero Rojo FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
