After 18 played minutes CHAU got a freekick which was hit by Donato Dayam. CHAU's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ysidro Palmero in the 24th minute. A well done corner resulted in Donato Dayam drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Santa Fe United's goalkeeper. In the 29th minute Gervasio Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Dayam got free with Anier Semeno in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Dayam to strike the kick off in the second half. After 67 minutes, Donato Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHAU and the Santa Fe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leandro Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CHAU fully deserved thier win.
