In the 2nd match minute, Matorrales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Özcan Turbay to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Omero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Conrao went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Rolando Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Ismael Monico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matorrales AFC and the Elperuz Fobal Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elperuz Fobal Club booed when Matorrales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Matorrales AFC's Hernan Omero got control of the ball when Ciro Conrao tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Turbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matorrales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gazanfer Özcan Turbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Quinton lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 37 minutes into the match, Elperuz Fobal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Monico came free, but Lucas Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elperuz Fobal Club's Lucas Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Mero in the 45th minute of play.

In the 54th minute, Matorrales AFC's Felix Mero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Pere. Lucas Pere yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Rolando Edwardo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Hernan Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elperuz Fobal Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Edwardo in the 64th minute of play forced Matorrales AFC's goalkeeper Hernan Omero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hernan Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Rolando Edwardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elperuz Fobal Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Rolando Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elperuz Fobal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Edwardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Jose Gagriel took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Lucas Pere to make any attempt to save it. Lucas Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Sol in the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Rolando Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Elperuz Fobal Club booed when Matorrales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matorrales AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
