In the 3rd match minute, Mística Ríoplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Blasco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Reynardo in the 5th minute of play forced Mística Ríoplatense's goalkeeper Enrique Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Independencia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cosme Lluc hit a great ball. Cosme Maxin's late challenge caught a Independencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Maxin helped the player get up and apologised. Cosme Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosme Gelmiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Ferdinand. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 27th minute Cosme Gelmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Gelmiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Pedro Ferdinand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd match minute, Mística Ríoplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Abel Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Tadzio in the 37th minute of the match. Cosme Lluc hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mística Ríoplatense's Enrique Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Reynardo in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independencia's Benjamin Eleder got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Fabian Tauro made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Independencia got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Reynardo. Cosme Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes of play, Independencia's Benjamin Eleder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Mística Ríoplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Blasco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mística Ríoplatense getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Abel Mercurio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Independencia's zone, Cosme Gelmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Ferdinand came out of the goal and Cosme Gelmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Blasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mística Ríoplatense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independencia the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Mística Ríoplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Blasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Fabian Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Independencia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
