Felipe Macias struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Mario Feo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peña El Cañazo FC. Mario Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Macias in the 12th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Paulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marado F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peña El Cañazo FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Marado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Paulin. 15 minutes into the match, Julian Haitz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peña El Cañazo FC's Vicente Geofredo. Vicente Geofredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Peña El Cañazo FC's Arturo Mogel got a free kick in the 18th minute. Vicente Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Mirande's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Julian Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Geofredo having to interfere. Vicente Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vicente Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Siro Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peña El Cañazo FC's Felipe Macias suffered a concussion after 32 minutes and had to leave the field. After 32 minutes, Leonardo Brais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marado F.C. and the Peña El Cañazo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, one of Marado F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marado F.C.. The goalkeeper, Mario Feo, was totally fooled by Peña El Cañazo FC's Evaristo Bastiaro, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Aureliano Mirande came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Marado F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Mirande couldn't finish the play. Julian Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aureliano Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marado F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Mirande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Geofredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peña El Cañazo FC's Vicente Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Mirande in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Baraquiel to strike the kick off in the second half. Siro Baraquiel scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Feo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Baraquiel in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Peña El Cañazo FC's goalkeeper Vicente Geofredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Haitz. A collision led to Peña El Cañazo FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Armando Saturnin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Peña El Cañazo FC's Armando Saturnin got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peña El Cañazo FC's zone, Julian Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Geofredo came out of the goal and Julian Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Mirande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Haitzs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Vicente Geofredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Armando Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vicente Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Siro Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peña El Cañazo FC's goalkeeper Vicente Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Haitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vicente Geofredo made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Peña El Cañazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Saturnin. The Marado F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Peña El Cañazo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
