The audience was convinced that Artemio Enol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Maurin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Bruno Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lorencio in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Pastor Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elvio Maurin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Artemio Enol sent off a good shot on target. Dalmacio Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Maurin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Villela's zone, Gilberto Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Maurin came out of the goal and Gilberto Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Villela's Victor Lorencio got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Artemio Enol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villela's Elvio Maurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Horacio Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dalmacio Aurken came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Aurken couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Artemio Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pastor Mero got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bruno Lorien was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Villela's goalkeeper Elvio Maurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Aurken. A collision led to Villela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Pastor Mero hit a great ball. Artemio Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Mero in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Lorien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Artemio Enol made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Maurin. Villela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 91 minutes in the game Rogelio Panfilo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wincenty Koperski. Bruno Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Mero in the 93rd minute of the match. Jesus Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Villela:s Elvio Maurin showed great skill when he stopped Roberto Gurutz:s penalty. Bruno Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Manchester United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
