In the 13th minute Honorio Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pieprz in the 17th minute of play forced Chipolones's goalkeeper Basilio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Lonzo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chipolones getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcelino Lonzo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pieprz in the 25th minute of play forced Chipolones's goalkeeper Basilio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Racing Club de Trelew's Adam Pieprz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Micael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Honorio Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chipolones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Micael was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Adam Pieprz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Pieprz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Krister Holmstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Veto was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Honorio Pelayo made the kick off in the second half. If Krister Holmstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Club de Trelew's Lucio Rocio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Basilio Micael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Pieprz's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Chipolones made a substitution. Segundo Dolfos replaced Honorio Pelayo. The supporters of Chipolones booed when Racing Club de Trelew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Holmstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Racing Club de Trelew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Racing Club de Trelew getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adam Pieprz hit a great ball. The supporters of Racing Club de Trelew booed when Chipolones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vladimiro Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club de Trelew's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Unax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Micael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 91 in the game by Krister Holmstedt from a close distance when the talented Clemente Veto managed to make a qualified save. Racing Club de Trelew's players were relieved. Krister Holmstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Clemente Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chipolones's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Racing Club de Trelew had won, even though Chipolones had held more of the ball.
