The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, USURIAGA FC's Humberto Betadur got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristo Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Oihenarte hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cleto Justin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Telesforo. USURIAGA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Justin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of USURIAGA FC booed when Rompepelotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Rompepelotas got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Österberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Miguel Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. USURIAGA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Miguel Romero came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the USURIAGA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Romero couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Cleto Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Saruhan Temizcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Temizcan in the 40th minute of play. Mateo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Justin in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Saruhan Temizcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristo Telesforo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Rompepelotas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 58 played minutes Rompepelotas got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Österberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Justin in the 61st minute of play forced USURIAGA FC's goalkeeper Cristo Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Manuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cristo Telesforo made a huge save. With a little luck, USURIAGA FC's Cristo Telesforo got control of the ball when Saruhan Temizcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes, Saruhan Temizcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rompepelotas and the USURIAGA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Rompepelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saruhan Temizcan to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Saruhan Temizcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Telesforo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Miguel Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Tomi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Saruhan Temizcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Cristo Telesforo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saruhan Temizcan in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristo Telesforo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 77 minutes into the match, Mateo Jayvier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carolo Tomi. Rompepelotas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Jayvier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 81st minute, Cleto Justin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Telesforo was a little too slow when Cleto Justin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. USURIAGA FC's Cristo Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save USURIAGA FC from getting a goal against them. Ceferino Manuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cristo Telesforo made a huge save. Saruhan Temizcan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 94th playminute. The USURIAGA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rompepelotas's performance. The match ended with a win for Rompepelotas.
