Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roque Martxel started the match with the kick off. If Roque Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Txerran didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Roque Martxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santo Txerran. Roque Martxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ulises Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rivas's Ruperto Inocente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Christobal in the 17th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Santo Txerran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Justo Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Christobal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Inocente having to interfere. Elpidio Christobal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Inocente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Sportivo Los Zorros's Elpidio Christobal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Inocente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruperto Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roque Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Los Zorros's Alfonso Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Christobal in the 36th minute of play forced Rivas's goalkeeper Ruperto Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Goren charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Goren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the game, one of Sportivo Los Zorros:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Santo Txerran, was totally fooled by Rivas's Horacio Hodei, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ruperto Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Rivas defense, Alfonso Remigio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Inocente. The Rivas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Inocente should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Remigio was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Martxel in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Txerran saved Sportivo Los Zorros from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Roque Martxel made a precise shot to the right of Santo Txerran. Sportivo Los Zorros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Ulises Urki sped through Sportivo Los Zorros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santo Txerran. When Aquiles Blanco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivas's protests and gave Aquiles Blanco a yellow card for diving instead. Gerardo Florinio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rivas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Angelo Resto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rivas's Ulises Urki got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Remigio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Inocente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Remigio in the 85th minute of play forced Rivas's goalkeeper Ruperto Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 86th minute of the match Aquiles Blanco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aquiles Blanco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Elpidio Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Christobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Los Zorros players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rivas.
