The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Cordoba Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Millán Quintas came free, but Francesco Belardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Conrado Jaizki fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordoba Futbol Club's protests and gave Conrado Jaizki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Santamarina booed when Cordoba Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Cordoba Futbol Club's goalkeeper Francesco Belardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Quintan. A collision led to Cordoba Futbol Club getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Conrado Jaizki hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Cordoba Futbol Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Froilan Quintan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Deportivo Santamarina booed when Cordoba Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Santamarina's Froilan Quintan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 17 minutes in the game, fortunately Francesco Belardi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Santamarina's Fabian Nataniel got a free kick in the 18th minute. Francesco Belardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Satordi in the 25th minute. The throw-in from Osvald Gustavsson in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cordoba Futbol Club's Benicio Ciceron. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Osvald Gustavsson with Froilan Quintan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Quintan got free with Francesco Belardi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Ciceron in the 39th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millán Quintas made a kick off. Francesco Belardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Quintan in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Santamarina's zone, Benicio Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ado came out of the goal and Benicio Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Froilan Quintan sped through Cordoba Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francesco Belardi. Vicente Santiago in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Ado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Deportivo Santamarina's Miguel Ado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Santamarina from getting a goal against them. When Froilan Quintan came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Deportivo Santamarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Quintan couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Millán Quintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Belardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Belardi came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Santamarina's Millán Quintas. But to his dismay, Millán Quintas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Benicio Ciceron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Miguel Ado made a huge save. Francesco Belardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millán Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Belardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millán Quintas in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Millán Quintas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cordoba Futbol Club's Francesco Belardi. Francesco Belardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Vicente Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 95 in the game by Benicio Ciceron from a close distance when the talented Miguel Ado managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Santamarina's players were relieved.
