After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Monteverde's zone, Nereo Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Rayman came out of the goal and Nereo Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Alberto Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Chesus in the 27th minute of play. Rafael Ekain was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Rosales FC booed when Deportivo Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Roberto Mark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Monteverde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosales FC the free kick. After 36 played minutes Deportivo Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mark. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Geofredo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Deportivo Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. The Deportivo Monteverde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosales FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Bernardino Koldobika made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Rayman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Chesus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. When Jeremias Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Deportivo Monteverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Geofredo couldn't finish the play. In the 90th match minute, Rosales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Adamski to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Alberto Chesus rounded Deportivo Monteverde's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. When the match was over Rosales FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Monteverde throughout the match.
