Luciano Salvatore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Silvestre Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Arnaldo Donostia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Columbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Silvestre Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Donostia in the 18th minute of play. When Drakarys FC's Arnaldo Donostia in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Drakarys FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Salvatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Donostia in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Columbo saved Concepción from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Drakarys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Tüzel to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arnaldo Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Drakarys FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Donostia couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Clodio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Donostia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Edgardo Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Columbo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Adan Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Donostia in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Columbo saved Concepción from getting behind. The supporters of Concepción booed when Drakarys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Adan Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Silvestre Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concepción's Silvestre Columbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Concepción from getting a goal against them. Prospero Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Donostia in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Bieito got free with Silvestre Columbo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre Columbo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Prospero Bieito sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute Arnaldo Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Concepción support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
