Marcos Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Chale in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Astra FC's Ubaldo Chale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cordeara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gogo Procopio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Gregory in the 13th minute. Astra FC's Gogo Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Menendo in the 14th minute of play. Astra FC's Gogo Procopio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Astra FC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Tareirí FC's Gogo Procopio threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moises Menendo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tareirí FC's Marcos Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Locaio in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ubaldo Chale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Cristo Valiente elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Ubaldo Chale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tareirí FC's Marcos Cordeara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Wilfredo Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gabriel Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tareirí FC's protests and gave Gabriel Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Cristo Valiente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astra FC's Gogo Procopio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gogo Procopio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Locaio made a kick off. Edgardo Locaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cordeara having to make a save. Tareirí FC's Gabriel Gregory got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gabriel Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tareirí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Gregory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Procopio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venancio Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cristo Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Procopio having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Arsenio Bermudez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cordeara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Valiente in the 87th minute of play forced Astra FC's goalkeeper Gogo Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Locaio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Marcos Cordeara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astra FC. 92 minutes into the game, Moises Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tareirí FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astra FC the free kick. The supporters of Tareirí FC booed when Astra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute Cristo Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tareirí FC had won after a very even match.
