In the 9th minute Erubiel Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mieszko Bronder came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Alberdi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Bronder couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Alberdi AFC's Erubiel Eudoxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Cidro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute Mieszko Bronder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alberdi AFC booed when Rayo vallecano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Denis Eguntsenti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Cidro skillfully saved the ball. After 20 minutes, Patricio Mikeldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alberdi AFC and the Rayo vallecano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Eudoxio in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Cidro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bonifacio Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Erubiel Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobaldo Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dante Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rayo vallecano fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Ladio to make the kick off. Dante Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rayo vallecano getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dante Ladio hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Oton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Llope. Alberdi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Oton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 79 minutes into the match, Erubiel Eudoxio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Cidro. A beautiful save bye Alberdi AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Dante Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Llope having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Bonifacio Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo vallecano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Oton struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Angel Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayo vallecano. The Alberdi AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rayo vallecano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
