Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulfo Formerio started the match with the kick off. Luyaba's Narciso Lore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Luyaba from getting a goal against them. Pascual Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Narciso Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Pelada FC's Raul Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Roman during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Roman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, Luyaba's Arnulfo Formerio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Izotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narciso Lore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Menendo in the 16th minute of the match. Pascual Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Pascual Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pelada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pascual Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raul Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Luyaba's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Menendo came free, but Narciso Lore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Florinio got free with Narciso Lore in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Pascual Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raul Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Narciso Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Dario Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Luyaba booed when La Pelada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes Luyaba got a freekick which was hit by Dario Donzel. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Menendo to make the kick off. Dario Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Prudencio Izotz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Menendo in the 57th minute of play forced Luyaba's goalkeeper Narciso Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Lore came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pelada FC's Albano Gartzen. But to his dismay, Albano Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 62nd match minute, La Pelada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Pascual Florinio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Lore. Luyaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Florinio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Pascual Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Luyaba got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Tebaldo. Arnulfo Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Raul Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Pelada FC had played much better football throughout.
