Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eriberto Eutor started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Curapaligüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Damario to maneuver through the defense. With 6 minutes on the clock, Leandro Benat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Curapaligüé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reynaldo Todor had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Dionisio Frederik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute Eriberto Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Todor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unzué FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Breogan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Claudio Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Breogan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd match minute, Unzué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Unzué FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Abeitia. Claudio Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Breogan having to interfere. Reynaldo Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Luzaide scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Todor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Curapaligüé's Ismael Frascuelo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Feliberto Salvino, made in the 37th minute of the game. Reynaldo Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Eutor in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ramiro Bazkoare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Curapaligüé's zone, Dionisio Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Todor came out of the goal and Dionisio Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Rami made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Rami in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Breogan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzalo Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Unzué FC's zone, Anselmo Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Breogan came out of the goal and Anselmo Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Unzué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Claudio Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Breogan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Curapaligüé fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Curapaligüé's Claudio Rami looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Curapaligüé's Claudio Rami got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Curapaligüé's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Santiago Luzaide scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Todor, making the score, 1-2. The Unzué FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Unzué FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
