Sixto Ledesma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Cresconio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Cayanta defense, Victorino Lluciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Ledesma. The Cayanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Ledesma should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Alberto Iyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sixto Ledesma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayanta's goalkeeper Sixto Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Bastiaro during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Medina made a kick off. Astor Mikelats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Nahia's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Cayanta's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Cresconio came free, but Sixto Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Lluciano got free with Sixto Ledesma in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorino Lluciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sixto Ledesma made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Primitivo Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfield Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Cresconio in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Ledesma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Cayanta's zone, Alberto Iyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Ledesma came out of the goal and Alberto Iyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Cresconio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 77th playminute. Sixto Ledesma didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Banfield Athletic Club's Primitivo Cresconio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Banfield Athletic Club's Victorino Lluciano got a free kick in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Cayanta's Emiliano Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
