In the 9th match minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Zacharczyk to maneuver through the defense. Antelo's Nicanor Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Tinoco in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Almagro booed when Antelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Perrando walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 40th match minute, Antelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Garin to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Prudencio Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
