The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thibau Worteleers hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With his leg Zacarias Rexino managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Caimancito AFC's Filiberto Fonda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Caimancito AFC's Zacarias Rexino threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thibau Worteleers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Fonda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Rexino was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Benjamin Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Gombal in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Severiano Gombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibau Worteleers in the 41st minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Severiano Gombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The supporters of Gloria Futbol Club booed when Caimancito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Severiano Gombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Kinsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacarias Rexino. Gloria Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. But to his dismay, Severiano Gombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thibau Worteleers struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Zacarias Rexino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caimancito AFC. If Thibau Worteleers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Fonda in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Gombal in the 83rd minute of play forced Caimancito AFC's goalkeeper Benjamin Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Fonda might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Rexino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Fonda ran back to his position shaking his head. When Severino Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Caimancito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Kemen couldn't finish the play. Laureano Jokin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Caimancito AFC's goalkeeper Benjamin Veto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Gombal. Thibau Worteleers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thibau Worteleers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gloria Futbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
