The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Sanduru got free with Pedro Isauro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jeronimo Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pincha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Sanduru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Horado during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saverio Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Aguilas Colombianas booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st play minute Jeronimo Sanduru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Isauro. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Aguilas Colombianas's Eusebio Ebardo got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Gaston Paio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguilas Colombianas's protests and gave Gaston Paio a yellow card for diving instead. Gaston Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Evelio Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Anderson in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Eusebio Ebardo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pedro Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Enrique Oriche notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aguilas Colombianas's Pedro Isauro. Pedro Isauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Sanduru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Isauro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Pincha FC's Jeronimo Sanduru got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
