Mauricio Malvin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Gerardo Felipillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The insependiente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Mauricio Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the insependiente FC fans jumped to their feet. Domingos Duardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Benicio Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Duardo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Aquilino Bernard sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, insependiente FC's Hipolito Fidencio got a free kick in the 45th minute. Aquilino Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Duardo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Urbes to make the kick off. Domingos Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Bernard in the 52nd minute of the match. After 59 played minutes insependiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Malvin. Benicio Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ubaldo Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Urbes in the 71st minute of play. Domingos Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Salomon in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of insependiente FC booed when High Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Lavalle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Urbes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 80th playminute. Aquilino Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Duardo having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
