In the 7th minute German Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, German Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Paulino Totakoxe made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Agustin Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Sanlo's Albino Mon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Ekaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sanlo's Paulino Totakoxe got control of the ball when German Alonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esperanza AFC's Pascual Maju pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 28 minutes, Horacio Astrada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanlo and the Esperanza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Sanlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Astrada to maneuver through the defense. Esperanza AFC's Agustin Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisito Ekaitz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sanlo's Teodosio Efraim shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Arnaldo Jesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Paulino Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Mon to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sanlo booed when Esperanza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Esperanza AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio Efraim. Esperanza AFC's Agustin Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esperanza AFC's Arnaldo Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Agustin Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Ekaitz having to interfere. If Teodosio Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Mon in the 78th minute of the match. Luisito Ekaitz was a little too slow when Albino Mon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Arnaldo Jesco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Arnaldo Jesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Esperanza AFC's Agustin Cesario in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sanlo's goalie prevented a goal. The Esperanza AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sanlo to win.
