Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Juanchi FC's Rolf Fossan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boston City's Pedro Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Fossan in the 8th minute of play. Ricardo Nuñez charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Nuñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Juanchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Juanchi FC's zone, Donatien Perou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Argi came out of the goal and Donatien Perou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donatien Perou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Teodoro Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Gumaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodoro Argi. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Silvio Bizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Damian Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juanchi FC's Teodoro Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodoro Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Rolf Fossan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Boston City got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Porfiro. Pedro Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Fossan in the 35th minute of play. Pedro Iago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Fossan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Porfiro during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Boston City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Rolf Fossan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Iago. Boston City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolf Fossan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Donatien Perou made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Silvio Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juanchi FC's Ricardo Nuñez got a free kick in the 67th minute. Fabian Ostargi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Juanchi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Batista came free, but Teodoro Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Damian Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donatien Perou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Juanchi FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Nuñez. Donatien Perou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Argi having to interfere. Teodoro Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Porfiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Rolf Fossan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Juanchi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf Fossan couldn't finish the play. Emiliano Gumaro's late challenge caught a Juanchi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Gumaro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Batista in the 93rd minute of play forced Juanchi FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Fernan Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Juanchi FC's Pastor Frasco in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
