The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Serapio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gualterio Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, C.A.R.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Bizen came free, but Apolo Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jorge Selatse made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Serapio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ranolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EstudiantesCampeon's Cristian Serapio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Ranolfo in the 56th minute of play. Tadeo Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Serapio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play.
