An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Perutxo in the 10th minute of play forced Wally Obras Pluviales's goalkeeper Paolo Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Wally Obras Pluviales's Celedonio Rodas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Popoy AFC booed when Wally Obras Pluviales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Whatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Abella got free with Paolo Balendin in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wally Obras Pluviales's Paolo Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Wally Obras Pluviales from getting a goal against them. Paolo Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Celedonio Rodas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Popoy AFC's Narciso Beturian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Isaias Perutxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Balendin was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Celedonio Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wally Obras Pluviales's Elias Ramos was substituted for Zack Whatman. Paolo Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Popoy AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Osvaldo Abella hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Popoy AFC's Osvaldo Abella got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wally Obras Pluviales walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
