Santos Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, UDINESE's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Dunixi came free, but Santos Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Americo Dunixi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Gaitan. Santos Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When La Piedra Movediza's Americo Dunixi in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Gaitan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Delmar Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Americo Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Gaitan's late challenge caught a La Piedra Movediza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Gaitan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Victor Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Gaitan having to interfere. UDINESE's Santos Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Dunixi in the 65th minute of play. Maximiliano Otoniel charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee ended the match the La Piedra Movediza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
