In the 11th minute Elvio Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Saul Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olmos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Anton Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 21 in the game by Saul Richie from a close distance when the talented Evelio Odilon managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Motumbo's players were relieved. The supporters of Olmos FC booed when C.A. Motumbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Odilon having to interfere. Ciriaco Galindo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to C.A. Motumbo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Filiberto Rumaldo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C.A. Motumbo's Filiberto Rumaldo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th match minute, Olmos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Richie to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Olmos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Roldan came free, but Ruben Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Richie was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Ciano made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Benicio Roldan sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Benicio Roldan made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Ciano. Olmos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Benicio Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Ciano having to interfere.
