In the 6th minute, Santo Macario made a precise shot to the right of Denis Eutropio. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Santo Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Eutropio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Macario in the 13th minute. Denis Eutropio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Santo Macario sent off a good shot on target. Denis Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Gaizko in the 17th minute of play. Atanasio Lanz F.C's Mario Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Che in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Santo Macario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mario Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Inguma in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Atanasio Lanz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Che came free, but Mario Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Bieito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Lertxun went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Denis Eutropio made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Santo Macario sent off a good shot on target. Denis Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Lesardo in the 40th minute of play. Delmar Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Higinio Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atanasio Lanz F.C! When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Racing Club's Delmar Flores got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mario Bieito. Mario Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Delmar Lertxun notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Atanasio Lanz F.C's Mario Bieito. Mario Bieito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Higinio Che sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Bieito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Che in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Hipolito Gaizko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atanasio Lanz F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-4. In the 90th minute Hipolito Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Lertxun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Bieito came out and tried to block the shot, but Delmar Lertxun slotted it home off the left post making it 6-5 in the 91st minute. Mario Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Santo Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atanasio Lanz F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
