The Ensenada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Denis Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Flores was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. When Filomeno Senio fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Filomeno Senio a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Senio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Fabio Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Inguma in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Higinio Che had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Lalla. Ensenada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Che was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Delmar Lertxun scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Lalla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Lalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Inguma in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Ensenada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Che came free, but Fabio Lalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Higinio Che a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Higinio Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes of play, Ensenada FC's Jonatan Dei made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Eutropio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ensenada FC's Jeronimo Gregory got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Dei in the 48th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Denis Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Higinio Che made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Filomeno Senio got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ensenada FC's Jonatan Dei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Eutropio. That made the score 2-3 after 57 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Dei got free with Denis Eutropio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Eutropio was a little too slow when Jeronimo Gregory got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-4. 67 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Denis Eutropio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Dei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Che in the 74th minute of play forced Ensenada FC's goalkeeper Fabio Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Che. 83 minutes into the match, Higinio Che had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Lalla. Ensenada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Che was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Fabio Lalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ensenada FC's Fabio Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Lertxun in the 90th minute of play. In the 97th minute Jeronimo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ensenada FC played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
