Ramon Guillelme's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aad Thole firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Volcán booed when El Palomar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Adrian Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Elias Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Min scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Gonchan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramon Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Gonchan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Candido Min's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Gonchan was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Volcán's Cornelio Dalmau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Gonchan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Candido Min managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volcán's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Min was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Gonchan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Volcán were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Candido Min to strike the kick off in the second half. Candido Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Gonchan having to interfere. Adrian Maju lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute, one of El Palomar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Palomar FC. 66 minutes into the match, Candido Min dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Gonchan, 0-4. Ricardo Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes El Palomar FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Acuña. Candido Min's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Alejandro Gonchan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aad Thole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. El Palomar FC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Volcán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulino Liberto took the corner. El Palomar FC's Paulino Liberto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aad Thole in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Candido Min reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejandro Gonchan. The goal made the score 0-5. Candido Mins short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Alejandro Gonchan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Volcán's Candido Min dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 95th minute, El Palomar FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Erroman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Candido Min got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The El Palomar FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Volcán were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
