Adrian Rio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Isidoro Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Montez in the 28th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Montez. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庞荣誉 in the 40th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Gaudencio Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in C.SyD Buenos Aires's zone, Vicente Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee ignored Douglas Haig's protests and gave Eustacio Eleazar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Haig's Gaudencio Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Curcio in the 63rd minute of play.
