When Cirilo Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored nacional fc's protests and gave Cirilo Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, nacional fc's Cirilo Atarratze got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bonifacio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Esdras in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Esdras in the 45th minute of play forced nacional fc's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
