In the 7th minute, Boris Bruni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Maria in the 11th minute of play forced Romeo FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hualcama's Serafin Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Bruni in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Romeo FC booed when Hualcama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hualcama's zone, Ildefonso Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Bernat came out of the goal and Ildefonso Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Mensa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Isaias Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Feliciano Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Romeo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Ohu to maneuver through the defense. Boris Bruni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo FC's Boris Bruni got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Sedeni might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Bernat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Sedeni ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ildefonso Sedeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Bernat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Sedeni went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Maria to make the kick off. Hualcama's Serafin Bernat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Hualcama from getting a goal against them. Marcial Bazkoare charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Bazkoare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Ildefonso Sedeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ildefonso Sedeni came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Romeo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Sedeni couldn't finish the play. When Ildefonso Sedeni got free in front of the goal in the 97th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Serafin Bernat was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Romeo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
