The tension between the Sarmiento F.C. and the Torino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sarmiento F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nunez Paulin hit a great ball. Segundo Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sarmiento F.C.'s Segundo Uzuri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Gregory got free with Segundo Uzuri in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Gregory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anibal Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Galeno. Sarmiento F.C.'s Segundo Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Gregory in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando Gregory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Paulin in the 52nd minute of play. If Rolando Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Uzuri having to interfere. When Artemio Ignazio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torino FC's protests and gave Artemio Ignazio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Torino FC's Artemio Ignazio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Paulo Reyes scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Uzuri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chants of Sarmiento F.C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Torino FC had held the ball for most of the match.
