But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Monte couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Nataniel made a kick off. Vinicio Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Iigo in the 58th minute of play. Eulalio Mero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute.
