Rachid Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Ermano having to interfere. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Canalejas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canalejas FC's Higinio Elodio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Canalejas FC from getting a goal against them. Canalejas FC's Higinio Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Poncio in the 12th minute of play. Higinio Elodio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Poncio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Sergio Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Guido Diaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Elodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eugenio Estevez hit a great ball. Baldomero Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Elodio having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Guido Diaz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

A sloppy throw-in by Edelmiro Oriche in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Canalejas FC's Justino Gonchan. In the 56th minute Sergio Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Elodio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Diaz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Candelaria's Julio Ermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Zidane in the 62nd minute of play. Asmo Leino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Ermano having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Denis Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Denis Gau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canalejas FC the free kick. The supporters of Canalejas FC booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Zidane struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Ermano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalejas FC. After 94 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Denis Gau. When the referee blew the final whistle, Candelaria could leave the field as winners, despite Canalejas FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
