Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rachid Zidane started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Canalejas FC's Gaudencio Blanco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Eder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Elodio. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Rolando Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucas Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Zidane in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Platense's goalkeeper Lucas Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Rachid Zidane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Canalejas FC's goalkeeper Higinio Elodio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Eder. After 40 played minutes Club Atletico Platense got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Benitez. In the 43rd minute, Rachid Zidane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Filiberto Acuña made the kick off in the second half. Higinio Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Filiberto Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaudencio Blanco hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Acuña in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Elodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Manilan in the 69th minute of play forced Club Atletico Platense's goalkeeper Lucas Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Marques having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Rolando Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
