Lamadrid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Placido Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Camilo Frances fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benedicto Manex, passed just outside the right post. After 35 played minutes Tatay AFC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Txeru. Lamadrid's Aquiles Galtero got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Pruss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Tatay AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Manex had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Xabier. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Goito to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Xabier in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Lucio Onofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatay AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamadrid the free kick. Benedicto Manex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Nereo Goito sent off a good shot on target. Tatay AFC's Benedicto Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Galtero in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Xabier in the 73rd minute of play forced Tatay AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lamadrid getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Camilo Frances hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Camilo Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamadrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Manex breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lamadrid's Primitivo Rocendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lamadrid from getting a goal against them. Dante Bernabel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Tatay AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Nereo Goito sped through Lamadrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Primitivo Rocendo. Lamadrid's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
