An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Llope in the 9th minute of play forced Club Atlético Fénix's goalkeeper Lucio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 18th minute of the match Ciriaco Rufio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ciriaco Rufio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 18th match minute, Cronaldo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gotzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Costante got free with Lucio Atarratze in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Cronaldo's Gaudencio Llope got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ermegildo Gotzon took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Ofelio. Camilo Ofelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omar Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ermegildo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Ofelio having to interfere. If Ermegildo Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦邦亦 in the 44th minute of play forced Cronaldo's goalkeeper Camilo Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Fénix's Ermegildo Gotzon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Ofelio. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. Club Atlético Fénix's 麦邦亦 got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Erasto charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Erasto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atlético Fénix's Lucio Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Llope in the 66th minute of play. Camilo Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ermegildo Gotzon sent off a good shot on target. Ermegildo Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ermegildo Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Atlético Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Gotzon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Gotzon in the 89th minute of play forced Cronaldo's goalkeeper Camilo Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Cronaldo got a freekick which was hit by Blas Erasto. Ermegildo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Ofelio having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Fénix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cronaldo.
