The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Israel Duarte took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Guillerme. David Guillerme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. David Guillerme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Duarte in the 7th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Semillero's Luiz Paulo Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Guillerme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. David Guillerme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Duarte in the 24th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. David Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semillero. Brown de Adrogue's Erubiel Chinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Luiz Paulo Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Guillerme having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Basilio Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semillero's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Duarte in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Guillerme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Cedro was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Paulo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. David Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semillero. Israel Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. David Guillerme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luiz Paulo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semillero's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Semillero's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Cedro came free, but Anastasio Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Guillerme made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Luiz Paulo Duarte sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Romulo Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Cedro in the 63rd minute of play forced Semillero's goalkeeper Anastasio Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Semillero's Wilfredo Montxo was substituted for Luiz Paulo Duarte. In the 71st minute of the match Gustavo Chayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Guillerme skillfully saved the ball. After 81 played minutes Semillero got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Cucao. Edgard Artaldo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anastasio Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, C.A. Brown de Adrogue's Carolo Cedro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Carolo Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Rafe having to interfere. The supporters of C.A. Brown de Adrogue booed when Semillero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Semillero got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Cucao. The Semillero players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
