Frederico Goiano scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Gamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Elixio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Bastian's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Lorenzo Haritzeder scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Elixio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Defensores de Nuñez's Zeledon Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Bastian in the 28th minute of play. Aaron Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Faustino Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristobal Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Nuñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Bikendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Haritzeder in the 61st minute of play forced Defensores de Nuñez's goalkeeper Zeledon Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Brun's late challenge caught a Defensores de Nuñez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Brun helped the player get up and apologised. 80 minutes into the game, one of Athletic Qizio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Defensores de Nuñez. Frederico Goiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustino Gamus. 2-1.
