Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Frederico Goiano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Fermin Cucao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocayuva and the Defensores de Nuñez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Fermin Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Ekhi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Defensores de Nuñez's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznaro came free, but Zeledon Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Nuñez's Raimundo Maidana got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes, Bocayuva's Gerardo Sanson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Elixio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bocayuva reached it. After 18 minutes, Gustavo Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocayuva and the Defensores de Nuñez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Bocayuva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Bocayuva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Amador Ekhi scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Theodore, making the score, 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Aaron Reno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Theodore was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Amador Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Nuñez's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Bocayuva's Romulo Lauren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Elixio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Frederico Goiano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Romulo Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Romulo Lauren made the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Elixio made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gustavo Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. After 59 played minutes Bocayuva got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Lia. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Amador Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Nuñez's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aaron Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bocayuva booed when Defensores de Nuñez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, Bocayuva's Eusebio Karmel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Elixio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bocayuva reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Lia during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Bocayuva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Lia to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Elixio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Lauren's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Maximiliano Lesardo lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Defensores de Nuñez! When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Bocayuva's Eusebio Karmel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zeledon Elixio. Bocayuva were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Defensores de Nuñez's much stronger midfield.
