Adolfo James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfonso Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Cordaryal got free with Julio Joey in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Carmelo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Joey having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Hugo Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmelo Frances came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Saraza FC's Candido Roldanillo. But to his dismay, Candido Roldanillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elvio Pelagius hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's zone, Alfonso Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Frances came out of the goal and Alfonso Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jacobo Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saraza FC's protests and gave Jacobo Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saraza FC's Jacobo Maureo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Carmelo Frances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Candido Roldanillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alfonso Mouricio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saraza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Julio Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Candido Roldanillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Carmelo Frances to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC booed when Saraza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Acosta in the 73rd minute of play. Hugo Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. After 86 minutes of play, Saraza FC's Alfonso Mouricio made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Frances was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Florin to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Alfonso Mouricio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Candido Roldanillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carmelo Frances. Candido Roldanillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Adolfo James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Saraza FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
