Apolo Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Oliveira having to interfere. In the 41st minute Apolo Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Abel Lekubegi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leo Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aquiles FC the free kick. A collision led to Leo Team getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. António Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
