Aquilino Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Oinatz having to interfere. The Anzoátegui fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Anzoátegui's Prudencio Eron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edelmiro Gaur hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Prudencio Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Florinio got free with Ambrosio Oinatz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Anzoátegui getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Prudencio Eron hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Anzoátegui's Igor Palben got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nunez Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Oinatz made a huge save.

After a defensive mix-up in Anzoátegui's zone, Aquilino Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Oinatz came out of the goal and Aquilino Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nunez Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Buinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
