Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Valente started the match with the kick off. Honorio Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Justin in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Mar FC's Alberto Justin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Isadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Nemesio Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Mar FC's Cristian Sadurni got a free kick in the 14th minute. Celestino Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Garin having to interfere. In the 20th minute Jairo Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Isadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Justin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Honorio Isadore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Abadia went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Valente in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Garin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alberto Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Abadia in the 37th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Honorio Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Garin having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Izel was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Mar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Abadia in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Mar FC's Jairo Abadia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Alberto Justin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Isadore. Horquilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Justin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alberto Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Justin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Isadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anastasio Atarratze hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Horquilla's Honorio Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Abadia in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nemesio Izel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorio Isadore. That made the score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. Adriana Pierres's late challenge caught a Mar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriana Pierres helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Horquilla's Adriana Pierres got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Mar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Valente took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Garin. Mauricio Garin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 93 minutes into the game, Mar FC's Alberto Justin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorio Isadore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The Horquilla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mar FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mar FC.
