Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aurelio Berart made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Deportivo Barro booed when C. S. y D. Santamarina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Niceto Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. S. y D. Santamarina and the Deportivo Barro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, C. S. y D. Santamarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Benino to maneuver through the defense. Felix Erroman came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by C. S. y D. Santamarina's Flavio Umea. But to his dismay, Flavio Umea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Barro's goalkeeper Felix Erroman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elpidio Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Rodolfo Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Berart in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, C. S. y D. Santamarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven André to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Bembe having to interfere. When Aurelio Berart fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Barro's protests and gave Aurelio Berart a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Umea was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes C. S. y D. Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Selatse. Deportivo Barro's Filomeno Herena got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C. S. y D. Santamarina's Rodolfo Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Berart in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Luciano Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Barro's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Deportivo Barro booed when C. S. y D. Santamarina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Flavio Umea from a close distance when the talented Felix Erroman managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Barro's players were relieved. Aurelio Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Bembe having to interfere. There was no doubt that Deportivo Barro were the better team. Deportivo Barro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
