He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Pietro in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Cristofor saved El Ciclón from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Evis in the 11th minute of play forced Montserrat's goalkeeper Eriberto Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of El Ciclón booed when Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Mercurio in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Cristofor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montserrat's Eriberto Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Evis in the 26th minute of play. Santos Belmiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Basilio Donostia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Cristofor skillfully saved the ball. Hugo Cristofor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Bastian went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Mercurio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Cristofor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vladimiro Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Pietro scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Cristofor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Evis in the 52nd minute of play forced Montserrat's goalkeeper Eriberto Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montserrat's Eriberto Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Evis in the 55th minute of play. El Ciclón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enzo Belasko in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on El Ciclón's corner Enzo Belasko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Mikelats quite easily take care of the ball. When Ezequiel Txindoki fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Ciclón's protests and gave Ezequiel Txindoki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Ciclón getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ezequiel Txindoki hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Mederi. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jairo Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Ciclón's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Mikelats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Evis came free, but Eriberto Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Montserrat booed when El Ciclón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Delmar Evis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Evis in the 80th minute of play forced Montserrat's goalkeeper Eriberto Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, El Ciclón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Errolan to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Txindoki in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Txindoki notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Montserrat's Eriberto Mikelats. Eriberto Mikelats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Pietro took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Cristofor. Hugo Cristofor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montserrat walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
